Bedford is a beautiful small city located just thirty minutes from Lynchburg. There is a lot of history in this little city, including this venue. The House at Avenel is a historic property that offers weddings. It has stunning large windows that let light flood in and makes for beautiful indoor photographs. The outdoor section has a cute red barn and a beautiful tree that hangs over the ceremony space.
I love being able to capture children at weddings. It is so fun to see them all dressed up for the big day. Usually, there is so much going on at a wedding day, that I often find myself checking in to see what the children are doing to pass the time before the ceremony. They are a special part of so many of my couples weddings, and I love capturing them as naturally as possible.
